Tokaj-Hegyalja was the first closed wine region in the world. It has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List as a cultural landscape since 2002.

The highlight of our day will be the 91st Harvest Days festival in Tokaj. This traditional grape and wine event has been organized in the heart of the wine region, Tokaj, since 1932. For the weekend, the main square of Tokaj will be transformed into a bustling ‘Wine Square’, where the best local and regional wineries will showcase their exceptional wines. Harvest parade, cooking contests, wine and culinary events, excellent music performances and stage shows await festival-goers.
